1154 Blue Hills Avenue * Bloomfield, CT 06002 ~ Reverend Daylan K. Greer, Sr., Pastor
From an early age his heart was stirred to do the work of the Lord. When asked at the age of five what he wanted to do when he grew up, Reverend Greer stated "God wants me to preach.”
Growing up in a Christian home in Bloomfield, CT with three siblings, his love for music, family and helping people was encouraged and developed.
After attending public schools in Bloomfield, he matriculated to Virginia State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. Still feeling led to preach the word of God, at the age of nineteen, Reverend Greer accepted his call and was licensed to preach in the New England Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. His desire to be an ordained minister brought him to Boston University School of Theology where Reverend Greer received his Master of Divinity Degree.
Reverend Greer has served as an Interim Pastor at St. Mark Church in Boston, MA and has been a Pastor at the following churches: Bethel A.M.E. Church, Fall River, MA, Dickerson Chapel A.M.E.
